Football Funds: College Edition

The Temple Owls gave us our first loss on the college side, but Notre Dame came through on our largest bet to give us another positive week! Covid has wrecked this weeks slate, so we are going to go unconventional and try to find some winners! Lets hop down the rabbit hole and hope we come out the other side in the money.

YTD Record:

NFL 4-1 +3.9 units

NCAA 6-1 +4.45 units

Kansas @ West Virginia

Line: WVU -22 O/U 48.5

Full disclosure I'm a Mountaineer fan, but I also very rarely bet on my teams. There's just too much investment already and then to put cash down on it as well means too much of a chance of clouded judgement. But, I just can't pass this one up. Kansas is the bottom of the Big 12 barrel and they will be without Les Miles - it's time for the ailing Mountaineer offense to get right. The Jayhawks have given up 38 to Coastal Carolina, 47 to Baylor, and 47 to Oklahoma St. I'll be looking for Jarret Doege and Leddie Brown to get things rolling in Morgantown this weekend.

Pick: WVU Team Total o35.5 (.5 unit)

Ole Miss @ Arkansas

Line: Ole Miss -1.5 O/U 76.5

Lane Kiffin has the offense rolling in Oxford, too bad the defense cant stop a nose bleed. The Razorbacks have been a pleasant surprise and may have the best defense in the SEC. Yes, you read that right, but The Rebels are a whole different animal. This is going to be a shootout like most Rebel games and I like them to win this one on the road and drop 40 doing it.

Pick: Ole Miss Team Total o38.5 (.5 unit)

North Carolina @ Florida State

Line: North Carolina -13.5 O/U 64.5

Florida State is hot garbage. I told you last week Notre Dame would drop 40 on them we cashed their team total over easily. The Tar Heels are riding high and are actually ranked #4 in the country. I think Florida State left whatever they had on the field against Notre Dame and it still wasn't enough. I think the Tar Heels powerful offense is closer to Notre Dame and Miami which both scored 40+ than Georgia Tech and Jacksonville State. So, let's go back to the well one more time on that terrible Seminole defense.

Pick: North Carolina Team Total o38.5 (.5 unit)

I told you it was going to be unconventional this week, but such is 2020. Let's avoid the Covid and cash these bets as the Big 10 starts back up next week with the rest of the conferences right around the corner! Keep an eye out for my Sunday picks!
